  28. Try GCC. I'm using this with linux - works brill ( I'd give up bc or 
  29. M$-vc any day, for emacs+gcc) You might not be satisfied in the start, 
  30. but just code and you will be!

  32. If you use dos I don't know if you'll be satisfied. I tried it once - and 
  33. removed it (and my dos-partition ;). As far as I remember there has to be 
  34. loaded something in your config.sys to make it run (check this out, I'm 
  35. not sure). Also my testing time weren't very long, so.....

  37. Well, If you want Pentium code right away - gcc UNfortunatly does not YET 
  38. support this ( I believe) but I think that work is being done on one.
