- Try GCC. I'm using this with linux - works brill ( I'd give up bc or
- M$-vc any day, for emacs+gcc) You might not be satisfied in the start,
- but just code and you will be!

- If you use dos I don't know if you'll be satisfied. I tried it once - and
- removed it (and my dos-partition ;). As far as I remember there has to be
- loaded something in your config.sys to make it run (check this out, I'm
- not sure). Also my testing time weren't very long, so.....

- Well, If you want Pentium code right away - gcc UNfortunatly does not YET
- support this ( I believe) but I think that work is being done on one.
